AvalonBay Communities, Inc. is seeking a ServiceNow Developer for its Arlington, VA office. Job Duties: Responsible for all aspects of the development cycle including requirements, design, development, testing and release to testing environments. Create and maintain business solutions within the ServiceNow platform to meet the needs of business stakeholders. Configure and customize Application UI and workflow. Deliver new services via the Fulfiller UI, Service Portal or Employee Center. Integrate with other business applications and systems using REST, JDBC, PowerShell, JSON, etc. Perform automation of processes to reduce human intervention while still obtaining necessary approvals and oversight. Manage version control for ServiceNow applications, maintenance on and future expansion of these processes including future RPA initiatives. Telecommuting is permitted. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field. Three (3) years of experience in each of the following:
• Developing, implementing and maintaining solutions within the ServiceNow platform
• Content Management System (CMS) using Jelly Script and UI Macros
• Integrating ServiceNow with external SOAP and REST based web services
• Development of custom spokes and RPA solutions
• Developing conceptual designs
