Commercial Banking

The Project Manager in this role will be responsible for working cross-functionally with business leaders and performing groups across Commercial Banking to ensure the delivery of critical initiatives. Additionally, this role will require the ability to develop and execute large projects across the business. The person selected for this position will manage matrixed teams and will have strong team leadership, communication and negotiation skills. As a member of the team you will be able to lead and influence across all levels within the organization to ensure that teams work towards a common goal, regardless of resource and time constraints. This role will also require an understanding and ability to bring together business, Operations and IT components to deliver high quality business solutions. The Project Manager develops objectives and priorities with clients and matrixed teams, creates an over-arching program plan including implementation schedules, communication plans, escalation processes. You will continually update and revise operational processes to improve efficiency. You will manage a team of project managers who have wide variety of backgrounds, skill sets, and project goals.

Responsibilities:
- Manage project management activities and priorities, which includes performing planning, guiding, executing and controlling the work and closing out the project, managing cross team improvements and integrating across other projects.
- Managing program timeline

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree

- 5 years of experience in Project management

- 5 years of experience supporting large scale initiatives

- 3 years experience working in the financial services industry

Preferred Qualifications:

- Masters Degree in Business, Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or Project Management

- Commercial Banking experience

- 5 years of experience in Relationship management

- 2 years of experience in Process management

- 2 years of experience in Risk management

- Program management experience

- Cross portfolio management experience
- Strategic consulting to define an agenda
