Sr Director, Treasury Management Operations Product Manager

Treasury Management Operations has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Director who will be responsible for Information Services Operations for the business. This includes leading a team of up to 30 associates with a primary accountability for creating a competitive customer experience associated with Transaction Initiation and Receipt, Notification, Transaction-related Information and Security.

The role will require interaction and collaboration with Bank Leadership and Operational Teams across Treasury Management, Enterprise Payment Operations and other Commercial and Small Business Banking Services. A successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving results in Banking and/or Financial Services Operations. The chosen candidate will also possess the ability to autonomously organize, run and be responsible for initiatives that impact numerous large scale operations. This is a unique opportunity to demonstrate creativity and provide thought leadership and strategic direction throughout the organization.

Primary Objectives:
- Lead Treasury Management operations in the delivery of four(4) key outcomes for our customers concerning Transaction Initiation and Receipt, Notification, Information carried with the Transaction and Security
- Manage the process and integrity of our notification and information deliverables across payment operations and in and out of the information layer between Capital One and our customers (i.e., Treasury Optimizer, EDE File transmission services, Digital, NGOBB, etc)
- Lead in the delivery of centralized implementation support and our help desk/reference desk/event management services

Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Leading and managing a group of up to 30 associates responsible for daily Information Services operations activities.
- Translate business vision and strategy into operational tactics, and build the organizational support and infrastructure needed to achieve them.
- Identify, approve and sponsor business transformation and productivity initiatives that systematically improve effectiveness and operational execution while enhancing the customer experience.
- Mandate and Leverage data reporting to assess performance, develop strategic insights, and direct information services resources to optimize operational effectiveness
- Establish strategic plans, budgets, allocate resources; review progress and make mid-course corrections
- Lead, inspire and develop a high quality talent team that supports the strategic and future needs of the business; building an industry leading Information services organization.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 8 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry
- At least 8 years of people management experience

Preferred Qualifications and Qualities:
- Master's degree in a field such as Business, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance and Economics
- 10 years of experience in Risk Management
- 10 years of experience in Financial Services Industry
- 10 years of experience managing people
- 6 years of experience in transaction or payment processing
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively negotiate with and influence multiple levels of staff and management
- Strong strategic planning and organizational skills to build and refine decision-making frameworks
- People Management Skills and experience
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and oversee multiple, concurrent projects.
