Jobing Description

Performs design and implementation activities for J2EE in a WebLogic and TomCat environments.  Responsible for updating application data entry screens, web services and system interfaces as requirements evolve.  Meets with stakeholders to elicit requirements, reviews design changes, and presents prototype demonstrations. Will be required on-site for the government on a part-time basis.   Required: The government desires senior-level system applicant with a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics from an accredited college or university and has a minimum of 10 years experience in computer programming. Master of Science degree preferred.  Knowledge of network protocols & interfaces (TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP, NNTP, LDAP), security (SSL, PKI, Kerberos), Data and UML modeling & use case methodology. Must have extensive experience developing enterprise web applications employed against enterprise level database management system (DBMS).  Knowledge of XML, Web Services and SOA and DBMS data access as well as knowledge of database design and implementation, is required. The offeror must possess  knowledge and experience of MS Transact SQL stored procedure performance tuning and troubleshooting.  Will be required on-site for the government on a part-time basis.   Secret Clearance required
