Jobing Description
Responsible for field marketing activities and support associated with the Federal segment, and serves as lead marketing point of contact for the Federal Sales group. Position helps define and execute channel marketing programs that enhance segment productivity, revenue attainment, profitability and overall performance. Responsibilities include: understanding the customers buying behaviors and demographics, identifying needs of AT&T Federal sellers and undertaking initiatives to address their needs and requirements, designing and developing new offer requirements, writing copy for collateral, websites and other communication vehicles, building sales tools and incentives, supporting customer events and demand generation activities, and general channel activation. Programs primarily focused on acquiring new customers and driving significant growth in existing base. Position will require significant matrix management with key partner organizations, and will need to be seen as an acknowledged authority within the organization. This position interfaces daily with Federal sellers and others across the AT&T Marketing organization.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of general marketing and/or product marketing expertise - Deep understanding of 4 Ps of marketing- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written- General knowledge of AT&T Business products and services- Previous knowledge and experience with federal government market- Strong skills in PowerPoint and MS Word
Desired Skills: - 3+ years experience supporting federal government market segment- Working knowledge of program/project management approach- Proficient collaboration skills- Creative and Innovative strategy development- Understanding of the sales process and sales support needs
Skills / Requirements
- Five years marketing experience
- Strong analytic and fact-based decision-making skills
- Must be proficient using Microsoft Office products including Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook
- Must possess both outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and problem solving skills and proven ability to handle multiple tasks
- Six or more years marketing experience
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications
- Experience with database applications outside of Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook
- Experience with project management systems
- Ability to anticipate risks and devise contingencies to manage them
- Experience in technology segment is a plus
