Jobing Description
The Senior Health and Human Services Consultant will provide objective advice, expertise and specialist skills in the area of healthcare strategy and management with the aim of creating value, maximizing growth and/or improving the business performance of clients. This individual will actively participates in the client proposal process, including lead generation, opportunity identification, proposal writing and client presentations. The Senior Manager will actively participate in all aspects of client work including project planning and execution, client presentations and issue resolution.
Additional responsibilites:
-Managing multiple priorities and strict timelines.
-Completing and delivering work product(s) in agreed-upon timeframe within the contracted budget
-Managing and developing client relationships as evidenced by positive client feedback and client engagement with repeated business.
-Completing all administrative requirements on time including time-entry, expense submission, client billing and others as requested.
-Managing a large matrix team and aligning resposibilities.
Skills / Requirements
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Business, Public Health, Public Policy or other related area of concentration.
- 5+ years of experience in consulting in health care and/or health policy research/analysis
- 2+ years experience working with public programs such as Medicare and/or Medicaid.
- 3+ years experience organizing and supervising the work of others.
- Experience at the Federal, state or service delivery level strongly desired.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
