Job: SAP Time & Payroll Global Function Expert

Jobing Description

Serve as technical expert in SAP Time & Payroll. Support the time management and payroll processes globally and provide subject matter expertise and strategic alignment across all AES businesses. Translate business concepts and requirements into SAP specific designs to automate the business workflow. Design, develop, code, and configure the Time Management and Payroll modules in SAP for global locations. Collaborate with other SAP teams (such as Finance and Plant Maintenance) and other business functions to deliver seamless and comprehensive designs. Program schemas for time and payroll rules for different locations globally according to local policies and pay practices. Utilize knowledge/understanding of payroll processing rules, local country and state legislation, and union contracts to build/program rules into the system. Function as a critical integration point for Payroll and Finance processes to ensure proper payroll processing and timely/accurate financial reporting. Support connections and interfaces between SAP and other systems such as Peopletrak/ADP. Provide end user training and support on different functionalities in SAP HCM. Troubleshoot system/processing errors. Qualifications The candidate must possess a master s degree in computer engineering, information technology or a related field and 2 years of SAP HR Time/Payroll experience. Must have experience with SAP Time & Payroll configuration and coding/development. Must have experience gathering business requirements and translating them into an IT design. Must have experience managing teams. Must have experience with global projects. Prior experience must include working with local and international HR legislation and external reporting requirements. Must have experience with union contracts and legislation. In lieu of a master s degree in computer engineering, information technology or a related field and 2 years of SAP HR Time/Payroll experience, employer will accept a bachelor's degree in computer engineering, information technology or a directly related field and 5 years of SAP HR Time/Payroll experience.
