Level: Manager

The Risk Manager will Manage Card Customer Management's (CCM) "Accountable Executive (AE) model" and execution of the individual Program Quality Reviews. The Risk Manager will develop and implement a robust interaction model and communication strategy to enable ongoing awareness of the AE model within US Card organizations. The Risk Manager will manage the annual CCM quality reviews for each program and establish accurate end-to-end documentation of the program.

The successful candidate will have very strong written and verbal communication skills, a proven ability to build relationships, and be able to interact with all levels of management and experts outside M&A. He or she will be expected to be autonomous, committed to open collaboration and teamwork. The successful associate will be able to consider and represent the business perspective in a compliance environment as well as formulate implications and compliance solutions in a business environment.

Dimensions of the Role

- Develop and implement a long term communication strategy to enable clear accountability

- Implement a risk based prioritization schedule to perform annual quality reviews for each program

- Working with Risk Management Partners and Policy Compliance team within CCM governance to clearly understand rules and rule changes apply to CCM programs and ensure timely awareness within CCM program team.

- Develop and implement annual risk assessment to evaluate key risks and effective of the controls. Key risks will include, but not limit to, regulatory compliance risks, credit risks, unassailability reputation risks and risks presented in the past EMS events.

- Serving as the intent owner for compliance remediation efforts, the annual Privacy Notice program, and some parts of the credit card plastic reissue value chain

- Professional support for external reviews related to policy compliance

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications

- At least a Bachelors Degree in a quantitative field such as finance, accounting, engineering or mathematics
