Perform a variety of research and consulting-related tasks
Draft reports and memos
Review and analyze data
Apply sound quantitative and/or qualitative analysis techniques and methods
Independently work on complex assignments
Provide training and guidance to less experienced staff and assist with day-to-day management of project tasks and budgets
Manage time effectively across multiple projects, with several managers and competing priorities
Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills (especially Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) are highly desirable, as is knowledge of SAS or other statistical software and experience analyzing health data
Positions in this function include those responsible for research and development projects. They collect and interpret research and analyses of markets, trends, competitors, products and services for use in operational business planning/decisions and strategic planning/decisions. May direct research grants, research projects and involvement with academic studies.

Skills / Requirements
- Requires a Master's degree with 0 to 3 years of related experience or a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 3 years of related experience. Highly valued assets include:
-Experience working in the health care or human services industries (e.g., hospital internship, health related non-profit/state agency, or related coursework)
-Strong oral and written communication skills
-Aptitude for interpreting data outputs and articulating findings to managers
-Statistical and quantitative analysis skills
-Knowledge of public programs (e.g., Medicaid, CHIP, exchanges)
