Jobing Description

This position requires an individual with the skill set to function as the Project Manager for Department of the Navy (DON) Information Technology development and implementation tasks.  The successful candidate will have at least 15 years Information Technology experience.The individual selected will lead a systems integration team responsible for all aspects of the hardware/software development.  Managing this team requires coordinating efforts between system/network engineers, systems integrators, developers, database administrators, information assurance engineers and other technical specialists.  The team is responsible for the full lifecycle of defining and pricing the systems, ordering equipment, building and integrating hardware and software, applying security lockdown including DOD PKI, preparing the System Security Authorization agreement (SSAA), and obtaining Authority to Operate (ATO) in accordance with DITSCAP/DIACAP guidelines, system/network administration, operations and maintenance.In addition, this position is responsible for successful compliance with the AT&T Government Solutions Quality Management System (QMS).  Experience with CMM, CMMI, ISO 9001 or LEAN Six Sigma is desired.Good working knowledge of DoD/Navy/Marine Corps IT portfolio management is highly desired.

Skills / Requirements

Required:  BS Degree in computer science or related field and 15 years relevant technical/management experience.  Strong leadership & DOD customer interface skills.  Excellent written/oral communication skills and ability to manage a team of engineers to produce Systems Engineering technical documents and build the associated hardware & software systems.  Solid knowledge of hardware/software servers in a networked environment.  Experience working with systems engineering best practices.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & Microsoft Project or comparable tools.

Secret Clearance is required and Top Secret level is highly desired

Desired: MS Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related field.  Good working knowledge/experience with DoD/DON IT Asset Management (ITAM) and/or IT Portfolio Management (IT PfM), DADMS and/or DITPR, working knowledge of NIPRNET/SIPRNET, and certification in PMP.
