This position will plan, schedule, prepare, and execute production order details, compile and prepare material requirement orders for inventory, issue requisitions for new and special materials, revise and reschedule orders when necessary and collaborate with inventory control, purchasing, engineering, tool room and other required areas

Reporting directly to the Director, Planning & Logistics, the position will be responsible to:

Plan, schedule, prepare and execute production requirements. Review material requirements and revise production schedules to meet customer demand.

Perform direct labor planning for applicable Work center.

Issue production orders using SAP (ERP system).

Report planned versus actual production results and work with production departments to coordinate schedules and timing for material and tooling procurement.

NOTES: Employer will assist with relocation costs.

Requirements

Bachelor s degree is required. Minimum 3 - 5 years experience with production planning is required. Experience utilizing an MRP system for inventory planning such as SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle etc is required, SAP experience is preferred. APICS certification preferred. Master Scheduling and LEAN Manufacturing experience preferred. Good communication skills, good computer skills and the ability to be detail oriented and self-sufficient are key points for this position.
