Description
The primary objective of this role is to provide a stable and well-managed production environment that enables delivering on business services.

Platform Manager will be accountable for establishing processes to evaluate production quality across systems within the division and identify opportunities for improvement.

Platform Manager will interface with management, users, and information technology professionals to identify gaps and create high-level conceptual solutions to system management problems.

Platform Manager will be responsible for analyzing problems and issues holistically across platforms, and will look ahead to develop strategies for mitigating negative impacts, automation of tasks, and identify efficiencies.

This position requires strong collaboration and communication skills, attention to detail, good documentation skills, and follow through. Position requires logical thinking and analysis.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure platform Availability, Performance, Capacity, and Continuity
- Ensure proper response to incidents, events and problems; driving root cause and trend analysis
- Maintenance, monitoring and reporting of Service Level Agreements
- Drive operational, maintenance and process improvements
- Provide communication needed to maintain well-managed platform

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years IT Experience
- 1+ year IT systems infrastructure experience
- 1+ year Risk Management experience
- 1+ year Systems production support experience

Preferred Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in analytical field
- 1+ year Platform Management experience
- 1+ year Project Management experience
- 1+ year Process Improvements / Engineering experience
- 1+year experience with ITIL methodology
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Ability to act as a liaison between business and technical resources
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Ability to drive initiatives across teams in a complex environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

IT knowledge/experience: Incident Management, Problem Management, Release Management, Change Management, Capacity Management, Defect Management SLA Management, Waiver and Risk Management
