Description
The Capital One Digital Mobile, Emerging, Social and Analytics team is seeking a versatile Product Manager, Social Media Marketing. The Product Manager will be accountable for leading various initiatives in support of Capital One's Social Media strategy through the product development life cycle. The successful candidate will be able to understand customer expectations; industry best practices; current gaps & technical constraints; participate in developing the roadmap to address identified needs; drive requirements and ultimately partner with IT Delivery, Operations, enterprise teams (e.g. Legal, Compliance) and third party vendors to deliver the optimal customer experience. The Product Manager will be responsible for communicating within the cross-functional team and on behalf of the team to stakeholders and executives.
Responsibilities:
- Partner in strategy development, product innovation and implementation.
- Design solutions for mobile banking customers by using key inputs from business owners, consumers, broader enterprise strategy, operations, infrastructure and the online/digital industry.
- Serve as the intent lead for new capabilities & enhancements, balancing customer experience and business intent.
- Be the subject-matter expert for assigned products.
- Use key learnings to create, prioritize and define customer processes, requirements, and design artifacts.
- Represent the business case to key stakeholders, influencing prioritization and implementation decisions.
- Be versed and engaged in conducting consumer research and usability studies to inform customer experience design decisions.
- Gain stakeholder alignment on product defined customer processes, requirements and design decisions.
- Continuously identify product gaps, process improvements, and solutions for aligned products.
- Partner with business lines to help identify and solve specific business challenges.
- Perform as an escalation point in managing aligned products.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 years experience with product development life cycle
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years experience in product management
- 2 years experience influencing senior leadership
- 2 years project management experience
- Highly developed interpersonal, presentation and communication
