Job Description

Title: Pricing Manager

Responsibilities:
The Pricing Manager has overall responsibility for the preparation, review, approval, and submittal of moderate to high complexity proposals in response to Federal Government Requests for Proposal (RFP). The Pricing Manager will manage the staff of pricing specialists of various levels. This responsibility includes interfacing with Government officials to ensure an understanding of the requirements, establishing competitive and defensible cost and pricing data for the development of proposals in accordance with government s RFP specifications, analyzing and conveying to senior management the necessary requirements of the RFP, preparing the cost volume (including cost proposal, reps and certs, and cost narrative), maintaining all proposal documentation and supporting files, and working with subcontractors in relation to the proposal. In addition, the candidate will collect and analyze financial data on existing government contracts, assist with estimation efforts, automate cost/price models, and adhoc reports. This position will work hand in hand with the business development team and senior management. All efforts will be consistent with the approved Pricing Manual.

Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 12 years of experience with strategic pricing for federal government contracts. The ideal candidate will be extremely detail oriented, independent, and analytical. He/she would have worked in a professional services environment and be familiar with IDIQ, BPA, GSA, Cost Plus, Time and Material and Fixed Price contracts and possess demonstrated knowledge of contractual terms and conditions. The successful candidate will have experience in government proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and contract activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Must have strong spreadsheet and communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced, dynamic, team oriented environment. This position requires the ability to provide good customer service to internal/external clients and to discuss and explain contractual topics with non-contractual personnel. Must possess management and leadership experience.

Skills Requirements:
Must have excellent organizational and people skills. Must have a working knowledge of governing regulations to include FAR, FAR supplements, the Cost Accounting Standards, DCAA Audit Manual; be a self-starter and thrive in a management structure where supervision is minimal but high standards are maintained. Must work well as part of a team (to include Program Managers, Human Resource, Recruitment, Accounting & Finance, Business Manager), be customer focused and have a "can-do" attitude. The ability to multi-task, prioritize commitments, able to work in a matrixed organization, and manage time effectively are critical skills. Strong writing skills and advanced level proficiency with Excel are required. Experience working with the Intelligence Community (IC) is desired. Ability to maintain a Top Secret clearance required.

Education Requirements:
BA/BS in business (will consider years of experience in lieu of education).
