Capital One is actively recruiting for senior IT Project Managers to manage medium-to-large teams delivering key business initiatives. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong ability to structure and manage cross-functional project/program teams and communicate skillfully across broad set of stakeholders.

Responsibilities include ensuring delivery of key project documentation, managing project budget, managing risks and issues appropriately, and communicating project status and issues to varying levels of management. Candidates must be able to work within a team and collaborate with a variety of partners and stakeholders that are both internal and external.
Candidates must possess strong influencing skills to effectively drive progress, resolve issues and facilitate decision-making amongst key stakeholders. A proven track record of strong project management delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives is a must along with ability to leading and coach a team of junior project managers. Strong communication and partnership skills are essential in interacting with key stakeholders to manage, inform and influence outcomes.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- At least 5 Years Project Management experience leading large cross functional projects or programs in IT, Banking or Financial Services
- At least 1 Year People Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters / MBA degree
- PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
- At least 7 years of Project Management experience
- At least 3 years of People Management experience
