Description
The Bank Product Controller group has a new opening for a Manager level position. This position will help manage accounting for complex transactions involving consolidated subsidiaries, equity method investments and commercial loans. This position will also help manage accounting for joint venture investments. The successful candidate will be able to coordinate with peers in the business and in Finance. In addition, this role requires ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a time sensitive environment.

Responsibilities:

- Direct ownership of routine accounting or data process flow including review of journal entries and account reconciliations

- Potentially manage a small team of associates.

- Interpret & operationalize financial data/ accounting policies related to owned processes.

- Identify issues, track & make alternative resolution suggestions for matters concerning owned process.

- Develop strong relationships with peers external to owned process, including Bank Finance and other areas.

- Display technically proficiency on subjects (accounting or analytical) related to owned process.

- Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills.

- Manage projects

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

- 5 Years of Accounting, Auditing or Finance experience

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree, Accounting Major

- CPA

- 5 Years experience in Supervising a team of individuals in an accounting department or similar audit experience

- Experience with application of ASC 323 and ASC 810
