Create, manage and participate in a variety of learning environments and activities that provide opportunities for students to develop to their fullest potential and achieve their learning objectives. Participate collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the general well-being of the school, and collective.individual interest of its staff and student body.
Lead Preschool position will require inmplementing standardized early age curriculum in accordance with directives and guidelines for implementation. Provides weekly, age approprioate lesson plans for review and ensures that assignments and necessaary materials are prepared before the beginning of each activity; modifies lesson plans, schedules as required. Utilizes NLCI curriculum planning, including readiness, math, circle time, themes, science/health, motor movement, art, cooking/music, computers and ensures educational equity.
Required Skills
Must be able to speak and write excellent English. Experience with lesson planning is a plus.
This position requires flexibility, reliability and great customer service skills.

Required Experience
Two- year degree in Early Childhood Education or life experience equivalent. High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred. Meets the minimuum preparation and experience required for certification as an Early childhood education teacher. Complies with all state education and licensing standards and maintains validation of credentails for the postion. Previous experience as an Early Childhood Education teacher in a licensed preschool or early development center. Strong Organizational skills. and must be 18 years or older. Must exhibit stong interpersonal and communication skills. Create a responsive and productive working relationship with parents, children, teachesr, other staff and the local community through remaining accessible and communicating clearly and concisely. Utlitzes technology to effectively communicate with staff, parents and administrative team.
