Overview:

Design, plan, and implement all aspects of Human Resource development for the site. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: succession planning, development of management, interpretation of company policies, processes and procedures, strategic recruiting plan creation and implementation, recruiting, screening, hiring, orientation, employee relations, performance management, reward and recognition, retention strategy, benefits administration, and to serve as initial point of contact for all HR issues. This role will also assist the General Manager in managing employee performance to improve retention, reduce attrition, improve employee engagement and advance the site in the pursuit of Premiere Employer in the marketplace to drive profitable business results.

Responsibilities:

Provide overall HR leadership for assigned location. Ensure corporate HR strategy is implemented at site for complete HR alignment.

Advise and instruct local site management in human relations skills consistent with company goals.

Interpret and administer company policies and procedures.

Create strategic recruiting plan with all project needs included in scope with additional development of a non-standard model for secondary recruiting needs when site is experiencing extreme ramp mode.

Ensure all requested classes, by project, are filled on time.

Manage the screening, hiring, and on-boarding processes for process inconsistencies, process backlogs, and gaps identified for continual process improvements.

Provide advice and direction on employee relations issues to ensure the consistent application of policies in compliance with legal requirements and company practice.

Act as correspondence and documentation liaison between corporate HR and field location.

Analyze site turnover by project to include departure reasons, date parameters and associated costs of attrition.

Provide counsel to employees and maintain positive employee relations.

Lead local effort to implement programs and processes to enhance the work life of site employees in order to foster a culture that embraces change, openness and lifelong learning.

Administer corrective action as needed including appropriate and legal documentation of all action plans.

Act as liaison between employees and management team by involvement in hiring, orientation, training, and complete work life cycle of site employees.

Qualifications:

Education: Ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent with 5-8 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist role. Applicable HR certification preferred (SPHR or PHR).

Experience: Extensive knowledge of Human Resources practices including all applicable laws and regulations. Minimum of at least 5 years of experience as a human resources generalist, with management experience. Successful candidate must have the proven ability to create, lead, implement and direct local HR efforts as part of a corporate HR strategy. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment is vital. Prior experience working in a contact center, retail environment or operations management background experience preferred.

Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities:

Demonstrated technical aptitude in HR field.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.

Possess strong oral, written, presentation and analytical skills at the management level.

Business experience in operations or customer service environment, highly desirable.

Proven ability to lead, coach and develop local HR team in both strategy and tactics.

Experience in implementing policies and procedures with strong compliance background in state and federal regulation adherence

Possess high comfort level when responding rapidly to management requirements

Demonstrate confidence, drive, tenacity and tact to move projects forward while resolving issues.

Experience in continuous improvement methods with demonstrated skill in goal setting and performance improvement.

Strong sense of urgency in task completion.

Excellent prioritization ability relating to ongoing, assigned task list.

Demonstrated proficiency of sound techniques in all aspects of HR management and administrations with particular emphasis on high volume recruitment, screening, and selection positive employee relations, employment law compliance, and learning and development

Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with all levels of employees.

Maintain great, positive attitude to demonstrate management and leadership skills to all site employees.

Communication ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral or written form.

Working knowledge of issue escalation identification to ensure organization is aware of all local scenarios that may have a company-wide impact.

Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications is required.
