Description
The successful candidate will provide business system analysis and project management support for managing the Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) platform. The GRC is an enterprise framework that is used to improve Capital One's ability to manage risk and quality throughout the organization. The successful candidate should be comfortable in a fast-paced and demanding environment. They will be responsible for working with risk program leads, GRC team leads and others in order to gather and document requirements for large and small release and provide project management support for small releases or enhancemnts.

About the Position and Background on Project

The role will focus on requirements and project management for Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) as implemented in Capital One with IBM OpenPages software. The position will support all phases of the software delivery life cycle.

Participates in developing functional requirements, testing, training and implementation of applications. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates user needs.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include all aspects of gathering and documenting business and system requirements for the GRC platform and providing project management support for small releases. Duties include meeting with users and team leads to flesh out requirements, document them and facilitate requirement reviews culminating in signoff. Project management duties will include working with the team to create and track Microsoft Project plans for small releases, provide status reports and manage software development lifecycle project deliverables. Successful execution of this role will require excellent communication skills with technical and business customers.

- Manage project plan and SDLC deliverables for small releases.
- Collects and defines requirements, translates into business and system requirements documents and participates in the technical design and test planning.
- Coordinate with environment team on the GRC system and data infrastructure process.
- Review test plan and test cases to ensure that all aspects of the requirements are adequately tested.
- Provide GRC Reference materials to support training and user documentation needs.
- Consult on design documentation.
- Participate in the planning process for environment migration of GRC releases.
- Works with users and peers in planning, developing, implementing, and supporting new or existing applications. Analyzes and re-engineers business processes.
- Participates in software design, prototyping, construction and testing of new or enhanced applications.
- Assists in training users on new or enhanced applications.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- 2 years of experience in Full project lifecycle software development
- 1 year of experience in Gathering and documenting user requirements.
- 1 year of experience in Facilitating user acceptance testing.

- 1 year of experience in project management using Microsoft project.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting (Management/External) or IT Management
- Business Systems Analysis certification
- 2 years of experience in Full project lifecycle software development
- 1 year of experience in Gathering and documenting user requirements.
- 2 years of experience in Facilitating user acceptance testing.
