Job: Graphic Design Specialist

Jobing Description

Kratos DES is hiring for a Graphic Design Specialist to work in our Dahlgren, VA office. Job responsibilities will include the following:

Format and edit PowerPoint presentations according to customer specifications.

Create PowerPoint presentation and Word templates.

Study illustrations and photographs to plan presentation of materials, products, or services.

Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and design concepts.

Design, edit, print, and mount oversized posters, charts, and banners.

Use computer software to generate new images for use in technical documents, presentations, and posters.

Confer with customers to discuss and determine layout design for posters and presentations.

Software: MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, and Premiere)

Meeting and program support tasks as required (e.g., logistics, security, note taking and minutes generation)

Experience and Skills:

Minimum Qualifications:

* A currently active Secret level security clearance is required

* Bachelors Degree in Graphics Production or related Design field is strongly preferred

* 2 to 3 years of PowerPoint design experience is required

* Ability to multi-task within tight deadlines is required

* 2 to 3 years of experience in design, layout, production art and/or related field, technical writing and marketing materials experience, video production experience and strong written and verbal communications skills is strongly preferred

* 2 to 3 years of proven experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design Flash and Premiere or other design/layout programs is required* Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office software is required
