Synopsis: This is a contingent position based upon the employee holding a DHS CBP Public Trust security clearancebased upon a CBP background investigation.On-site support of a Enterprise Management System (EMS) solution consisting of infrastructure and software servicesthat will enable the modernization of an embedded base of installations/applications. The Engineer will provide technicalsupport across all functional areas, for large- and small-scale systems, integrated into a Federal Government customerenvironment.Candidates applying for this position must possess at least five years of applicable experience as an integration engineerworking on technical Government / large commercial projects. The candidates breadth of working knowledge andexperience should include most, if not all, of the following areas:" Enterprise Management technologies such as HP OpenView, BMC Patrol or IBM Netcool" Performance analysis and reporting using tools such as CA eHealth Suite and/or OpenView Performance Insight (OVPI)" ITIL Service Desk (HelpDesk) tool suites such as BMC Remedy, HP Service Manager and/or Peregrine" Platform implementation planning of Centralized and Distributed architectures in large enterprise environments" Strong verbal (presentation) and written communication skills" Understanding and documenting customer requirements" Interface with AT&T NJ-based platform development organizationThe selected candidate may also be expected to assume surrogate line-management responsibilities, when required.Candidates for this position who are open to some local and out of state (NJ) travel during training or deploymentoperations are required.The selected Integration/Deployment Engineer will work with project-engineering staff to define and documentproject, system, and software processes, as well as to develop work aids/instructions and tools to support processimplementation. OJT of government personnel may also fall on to this candidate.Certifications in ITIL, DoD 8570 disciplines (A+, Security+, Network+) and other IT avenues are preferred. Projectresponsibilities may also include establishing, maintaining, and implementing metrics artifacts, as well as collecting,analyzing and reporting technical specifications and performance data.Candidates must possess a current DHS CBP Public trust clearance, as a precondition of employment, a transferrable andapproved TS/SCI clearance is preferred. Most of the work will be performed at the client location in Newington, VA or atthe AT&T Oakton office location; no relocation is authorized; lateral transfers only
