ARINC located in Norfolk, VA is looking for a Exercise Planner/Designer to support our Defense Systems Engineering (Advanced Concepts Engineering) division. This position will be responsible for managing, planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring all aspects of USFF Navy service component planning and exercise support to USSTRATCOM and CNIC. They will develop and maintain joint training and exercise plans, programs, policies and processes to execute service component responsibilities in support of CDR USSTRATCOM and CNIC exercise requirements. They will review exercise training policies and operational directives of subordinate commands to ensure consistency with and responsiveness to CDR USSTRATCOM, CNIC, COMUSFLTFORCOM and higher authority directives. Lastly, this position will coordinate development and maintenance of instructions, after action reports and operational risk assessment for joint exercises and training events. Qualifications Required Experience: 8+ years of managing, planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring all aspects of planning and exercise support experience is required. Experience in the design and development of policy guidelines through the implementation of best practices of improvement plans is required. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information.
Education/Certification Requirements: BS degree (preferably in Management) required. MS degree preferred. Any military certifications in exercise design is a plus.
