Description
This exciting opportunity will help shape the evolution of Capital One's banking business. This role is part of the Sales & Service Organization, specifically within the Technology Initiatives and Governance team. The role centers on defining the future Sales and Service tools and technology required in the branches and contact centers and working with IT and other partners to deliver those solutions in a timely and effective manner.
The environment is fast-paced and strategic, with work that is critical not only to the sales and servicing activities within the branch network but also to our other channels, segments and IT partners. The role requires a well-rounded analyst who can develop analytical insights, apply creative problem-solving skills and provide thought leadership to influence and lead cross-functional teams. This individual should be knowledgeable about technology and how it can enable business capabilities. This individual should be comfortable with managing complex programs and projects and influencing IT and business partners, and he/she should bring an exceptional ability to interact and communicate with senior leadership to influence outcomes. This individual should also be comfortable guiding direct and indirect team members. Responsibilities could include:
- Work with Sales and Service and partner organizations to define the roadmap for sales and servicing tools and technology within the channels
- Partner with multiple organizations to define the intent and deliver business requirements across multiple sales and service initiatives on behalf of the Sales and Service organization.
- Structure and lead the well-managed execution of Next Generation technology projects to ensure solutions are delivered into the channels effectively and efficiently and on a timely basis
- Evaluate and identify creative solutions to deliver low-cost, fast-to-deploy tools and technologies to enable initial functionality more rapidly than full-blown solutions
- Champion the integration and identification of linkages and gaps between various technology programs
- Ensure required process analysis and redesign work is completed for technology and tool deployments
- Be the customer for Associate Readiness and Training for technology programs (provide requirements and direction)
- Ensure that appropriate end user testing is planned for and executed for all technology programs
- Provide thought leadership and prioritization of TouchPoint Releases and build recommendations for senior management
- Forge a strong partnerships with TouchPoint IT Platform team to enable delivery of business needs and TP releases
- Represent Sales and Service in defining the future direction of enterprise platforms such as IRIS
- Lead and manage direct and indirect teams; coach and develop team members
- Proactively identify opportunities for continuous development/improvement of key business processes
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years experience in program and project delivery
- 3 years experience in People management / leading teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA / Masters degree
- Excellent Analytical Capabilities
- Experience defining requirements and delivering technology solutions
- Process management experience
- Branch banking knowledge / experience
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in an unstructured / fast-paced environment
