Description
We are in search of an accomplished individual to lead the Card or Mortgage portfolio within Bank Consumer Lending. The ideal candidate is someone who wants to own all aspects of a business and is comfortable balancing the needs of managing an ongoing business while driving a growth agenda. The successful candidate must be able to build relationships and provide compelling insights to influence and drive decisions in a cross functional environment. This individual will need to develop the strategy for profitable growth of the segment within the Consumer Bank, build the case for specific products and services and develop the requisite structure necessary to get the existing business into a more well managed state.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
? Develop the strategy for lending products within the Bank and drive the agenda through execution
? Establish the intent for sales and servicing of lending products through bank channels, working closely with our partner organizations to deliver the appropriate customer experience
? Understand the competitive environment, identifying strengths the business can leverage and gaps that need to be addressed
? Create marketing and sales strategies to increase volumes through bank channels
? Prepare and present clear and compelling messaging all the way up to and including line of business leaders
? Provide development for a team of analysts as they identify opportunities, evaluate options and develop recommendations
? Lead the team to deliver results in the near term, while setting the foundation for future growth

Qualifications
The candidate should be a thoughtful business leader, with a strategic orientation and proven track record of delivering a robust, growth-oriented agenda. Developing effective partnerships to move the agenda forward is a core competency for this role. This person is a professionally mature, confident leader who is comfortable and effective at all levels of the organization. He or she is approachable, collaborative, and possesses the following characteristics:

? Strategic orientation the individual should have a proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on data analysis. Conceptual thinking skills must be complemented by excellent analytical and quantitative abilities.
? Strong business judgment, influence, leadership, and integrity the candidate must be flexible and sensitive to relationship issues in an evolving culture as a result of continuous growth.
? Exemplary business leadership skills the individual should be comfortable fostering innovation, driving critical decisions, and excel at delivering results.
? Solid people leadership experience the candidate should leverage the capabilities of team members, business partners, and associates by developing bench strength and building partnerships that will further the success of the Bank Consumer Lending organization.

Preferred Qualifications
? An MBA or master's degree
? Successful track record within a financial services company; past experience in Card, Mortgage, Home Equity or branch based lending a plus
? Previous management/business consulting experience
? Impeccable business acumen
? Intellectual horsepower and excellent analytical ability
? Ability to identify and define business questions and issues, as well as develop strategic frameworks to conduct analysis
? Expertise in general business principles and processes and the ability to address all aspects (business and technical) of a solution
? Ability to gain significant credibility, trust, and support within all levels of the organization (i.e., peers, subordinates, and senior management)

Basic Qualifications
? Bachelors degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Math, Finance, or Economics
? Exceptional communication and presentation skills
? Demonstrated ability to influence across organizations
? 5+ years of analytical work experience
? 3+ years of people management experience
