Description HDR is currently in need of a Construction Inspector for our Water Business Group in Norfolk, VA. This individual must have an all around knowledge of various disciplines with a specific focus on concrete inspection for pumping stations, force mains, and wastewater treatment facilities.. They will be responsible for daily reporting and record keeping, and must be a team player who can build good working relationships with clients and contractors in facilitating the construction process.

Requirements Tech school or college degree a plus.
10+ years of overall experience as a Construction Inspector required, which should include specific experience with the construction of pumping stations, force mains, and wastewater treatment facilities..
Must be proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
Proven problem solving and documentation abilities desired.
Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This position typically requires successfully passing drug-screening procedures prior to being hired; thereafter subject to random and cause drug and alcohol testing. HDR is a drug and alcohol free environment.
