CNA/RESIDENT ASSISTANT

Richmond, VA

Part Time

ALL SHIFTS AVAILABLE (PART-TIME ONLY).

Provide resident care duties under the supervision of the RCC and the direct supervision of the Supervisor-In-Charge (SIC). Assists in maintaining a positive physical & social environment for the residents. Assists residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and some light housekeeping duties.

Responsibilities

* Provides assistance with bathing, personal laundry, walking, eating, medication reminders, dressing and grooming as needed. Trash taken out on all shifts.
* Assists in transporting residents to shopping trips, medical appts. & other outings.
* Demonstrates support of our HHHunt operating philosophies.

Work Experience/Education
Successful candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials, and the general public. The resident assistant must have the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time, be self-motivated and can work independently. Candidate should have an outgoing, friendly personality. Hotel, hospitality or other service experience is a plus.

High school diploma or equivalent is required. CNA certification, Personal Care Asst. (PCA) certificate is preferred.
