Jobing Description

Position Description:

The Cashier contributesto the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by processing all cash and checks, reconciled to the daily route activities of Full Service Vending, Conventional Bay and Bulk Delivery Drivers. This position is located at the Lynchburg, VA facility

Key Accountabilities:

Develop and maintain working relationships with Sales/ Warehouse teams.

Demonstrate strong work ethic and safely work in all job aspects.

Customer Service/Taking orders/Hot Shots/ resolving customer issues. Collect driver end of day paperwork and money

Ensure accuracy of driver paperwork and deposit slips

Balance route paperwork and deposits

Verification of Express Settlement Paperwork in ERT System

Prepare daily Bank Deposits

Provide Check-in for the Sales Delivery Drivers according to audit standards

Process paperwork associated with check-in

Respond to customer dispute cases

Balance Settlement Reports to the General Ledger

Other Administrative tasks and tracking

Job Eligibility Criteria:

Must have strong computer skills (including Excel) and the ability to learn new applications quickly

Strong Interpersonal skills and mathematical skills with significant attention to detail

Ability to work and think independently in a fast paced operations environment

Must be able to lift 30 lbs. (money bags)

Must be able to pass credit and background check

Must have high school diploma
