ABM Industries currently seeks an experienced Commercial Building Engineer to compliment our client partner team in Virginia Beach.

This position reports to the client Facility Support Supervisor. The Building Engineer inspects electric, lighting, heating and ventilation equipment and machinery to insure proper and safe working conditions. Makes periodic inspections and performs preventive maintenance of all plant electrical, lighting, heating and ventilation systems. Makes minor repairs to interior and exterior of building such as walls, floors, lights, roof, and garage. Makes minor repairs to grounds area to include all landscaping, sidewalks, and fences.

Successful applicant must be experienced and be able to demonstrate their experience as it relates to tasks described. Applicants for this position must also have basic computer/Microsoft Office skills.
